Lichen on rockface
You may be wondering what you can do with images like the one above. They are great 
for providing texture for backgrounds and other graphic elements. The current photo of the week (above) was screened back to 30% and placed over a block of color to provide a rough-looking background for the poster on the right. Or, an image can be used with a clipping mask to texture letters or other graphic elements, as seen below.
