Deep-Blue-Icy-2

Yukon River

Reflecting color more characteristic of the sea toward which it is headed, the frigid wind-whipped water of the Yukon River continues west along its 1400 mile journey. As winter progresses, the River will become prisoner to as much as six feet of ice.

The Yukon River reflects the deep blue of the sky on a bright, sunny day in the upper Yukon River valley.
